Description This has been sitting in my hard drive for a while as I argued with myself whether or not I should put it up.

I spent a ton of time on this. Aaaand not so sure I'm happy with it. But I can't keep working on it and tweaking it.

First piece I've done with full (and painfully rendered) background, so in that way, I'm kinda proud of it!

I used the following stock for the elveses:

Female Scout -- From at [link]

Male Ranger -- From at [link]

Check these stock artists out! They're great!

I also used grass brushes for some of the grass in front by Check her brushes and lovely gallery out! I woulda died without those brushes. ;_;

Also utilized 's wonderful and useful tutorial for the light rays. Check out her amazing gallery, too!

Aaand...I think that's it. *passes out*

Enjoy!!

Oh wow...So much detail!! I just love this. I have to say I love the effect you got with the distants and the water looks real. Grats on the grass too...that looks like it took forever!

I like that the water (assuming the thing I'm referring to is water) is greyish and not blatantly blue. A lot of people who should know better insist on blueing up every hydrogen oxygen compound regardless of the situation. Bah, I say!

Thanks man. Yeah, the appropriate color to do that in took a bit of work. Pretty easy to go with the traditional blue water, but I wouldn't make blue water for somethin like this. Unless it were filled with blueberry jell-o mix or something...Now there's an idea. iunno...Think elves even like jell-o?

A secret inside source tells me that Jello-o is an important ingredient in Lembas bread. Truth!

Ya know, that doesn't actually surprise me. It IS said that there's always room for jell-o. May explain why lembas bread is so nourishing.
