Ooh, where can I start? o: It was a collab with my dear close friend SupaSilver It took a while till she finished the sketch for our collab but I know the wait was worth
Sooo, it's long time ago - probably over a year I cannot remember really. I just know it came out of a little "RP" we both did - yes, I used to do but I stopped it so please have the understanding not to ask me for a role play.
It was as many people are quite interested of the "newby" Aries the Hedgehog- I mean SupaSilver 's Anti-self of her character Ares. While Ares is quite a shy character towards to girls and ladies his counterpart instead is quite a handsome who tends to flirt a lot. So out of the blue I wanted to start a nice talk with him. I dunno how it continued but it ended after all with a meeting at the bar xD
And this picture is the scene were we have a meeting in a bar. I was quite excited to color the sketch 
I hope you like it. I really had fun coloring this.

I admit in all honest Nightshade. I sometimes wish I'd draw so amazingly well with original character style and posing especially. I always have the lack of drawing poses even if I tried to do that better so often ...

I think people can be so superficial. They are just keen on seeing the best looking and perfect pictures instead of the meaning behind the art.
Most of my pictures have flaws but I don't mind at all. I still love them.

yeah i get that feeling too...but sometimes a picture can only be clear if you undertsnad the meanign behind it.
the flaws only make it unique.

That is it. I don't want to offend anyone but seems that people cannot understand the meaning really. Maybe it is hard to explain.
Even I have the problem to explain the people what I was thinking about as I was drawing.

i mean come ON!! it's just so smooth with texture and light! i really like how you made it a dark bar and then the light up sign in the back made a cool shine to the background especially!!
the little shine on the bottles really made it pop bringing the picutre pop out and into reality! the calming face expressions along with the shaded colors really seems calming to me ^-^ like its a quiet bar or it's late at night! XD
you have honestly left me speechless Elly! and im trying to find my words to type to you but im so speechless it's uncanny!
(or Soup or Mari XD) also did a spactacular job with the sketch! the details she did and then you shaded really brought it all together!!
i just have to say thank you ~ for the outstanding sketch! it surely is as wonderful as your many other arts ^^ and the idea is genious! (whoever thought of it CX) but the way you combined it makes you both PURE geniouses! thank you Soup for this wonderful display of your part of the collab! i loved it when i first saw it and i new right away when i saw you were working with the wonderful Elly i NEW it was goona be more outstanding then EVER!! ~
and thank you your are so AMAZING with digital shading it is MIND blowing! it leaves me breathless! it's all so smooth and the way you can cast your magic on pictures is a blessing to see you never dissapoint! your always filled with wonderful and colorful ideas! and t leaves me in suspense for what you will do next! thank you for showing us this! it really is a masterpeice!

I have a preference for nighttime scenes. So it's a bar at late night. I know some modern bars have lights behind wall plates to shine on the edges. So I took the opportunity to take dark colors and blend it with highlights on the edges.
I cannot remember who had the thought first. But from the first thought till to the picture it was a community production of us ^^ I always admire her drawing style. I still could learn of her

Amg , I saw the sketch earlier
But now in your style it even gets more intresting to look at , now it's finished , got 3D effect cause your shading and lightning art and looks so realistic!

and the effects here are amazing! When I first saw this, first word came was "woooooooooow"....

And adding Allure was part of my idea you know.

I know, I know. I noticed it that I made a little mistake on the description. I wanted to mention that the idea to add Allure was from you but it seemed that I forgot to add only 2 words

Well, that's my term to define everything naturally ;.; While inner architecture, streets and buildings are built up straight the surroundings in nature have more "curvy" lines giving them a natural "organic" feeling. Or so

Yeah but it's one of the reasons why I prefer nature instead. ^^ I love the atmosphere

That's a good question. It depends how it's mixed. It can be that some alcoholic drinks are mixed badly (e.g. too much alcohol
