Hoooo-kay. So the title really sucks but I'm in a goofy mood (i.e. really freakin tired).

Please meet my two beloved Tauren.

On the left, you have Daylenn Windhoof of the Mistrunner Clan, once a widely respected Elder healer of Moonglade, she has since renounced that way of life and seeks to make her way learning the Way of the Claw. Daylenn is quick to anger and severely dislikes ingrates and Alliance.

On the right, you have Valwend Stormtotem of the Skychaser Clan. She lives the life of a wandering nomad, communing with the spirits and seeking to set the balance to rights. She has devoted her life completely to the balance and would not hesitate to kill a close friend if she felt it was necessary for a greater good. Valwend is generally the most placid of creatures, very slow to anger, but watch out if you do make her mad. Here, she is depicted as a skilled enhancement shaman, yet very soon in the story, she is going to sustain a terrible injury that leaves her forever crippled. No longer able to maintain the agility necessary for melee fighting, she will turn to the ways of an elemental shaman.

I absolutely ADORE my cows so this piece was a long time coming for me. Obviously, this is FAR from done but after how many hours I spent working on it so far and how many times I kept getting interrupted, to my extreme frustration, I wanted to post SOMETHING of my day's labors. This sketch highlights a bit of my method. I start off with a light blue color and make the messiest scratching lines until I get it sorted out how I want it to be, then I go back over it in solid black clean lines. Eventually, the blue lines will be gone completely. And I will finish Valwend's face because with it just blocked in like that, she looks ridiculous XD

Ok, it's very late, I'm very tired, I haz work in the morning, I don't know why I'm still up. Hope you like the cow pair too.
