This artwork took around 9.5 hours to finish in elapsed time, and I think it was worth it. This is just an α form of Azure, the next being ß and then it begins with form I, in which I will illustrate later on in the course of this and next year.There are several technical and proportional+wing mistakes made here, but otherwise, it's a worthy artwork to look at. I know, I know, it looked very unpolished, and it is, so please bear with it. When I get to Form II, that's when the black-and-purple scales come into place. I'll be improving the construction and how the artworks are made when I get to the next Azure-related artworks. I've finally been able to submit myself portrayed as a dragon...even if this is only an early prototype of it.
Anyway, enjoy! I also discovered that this file is a powerful, 21.4 MB, large one!

a beautiful piece of art work, although i am not as gifted as you here are my two penny worth of constructive criticism
The image is made up of a number of styles, photo, parts of the sky and mountains, fine art the dragon, placed brush work and complex brushes and the old bit of rendered light, each style make the image too rich and complex in my humble opinion by filtering each layer to try to keep a matching theme getting each level to look like it belongs to the whole image again in my opinion it looks like 5 pieces of art work blended, the color is beautiful the idea is great,
