Another Poetry Pic that needs to be full viewed for! XDIt took me a while to get photoshop right but I think I did okay getting the poem to fit
I'm not gonna say more...enjoy ^_^

*Story*
Aura’s POV: One of the dreariest nights that I remember the most of was around the time that autumn came into season. The rush of dead leaves and the brisk cold wind was enough to make me shiver under my warmest sheets. Not to mention the little plague of a cold that sweeped the town…and me being one of its casualties. You might think that a hybrid like me getting sick is utter nonsense, just because I’m immune to things that affect my spirit…dosent mean that I don’t get sick once in a while. -_- However this isn’t about me alone…lets go back a few days and you’ll know why…
Titans Tower
(3:am, Raining)
A’s POV: I was still getting settled in back at home when I caught that damn bug that BB had. Ugh I was bed ridden for nearly a week, to why that happened is that all of my powers had gone into fighting my virus so…yeah you get the idea. Throughout my time being the patient, the Titans own alien nurse had been taking care of me. Even if it was something small that I needed she went and got it without me even asking. Between the both of us…I didn’t want her to burden herself so much. I mean yeah she’s always been there for me but when will there be a time that I can return that favor you know!? 9///9 Even as a rookie I felt like I got babied on frequently but with good intentions. Still…I wanted to do the same thing. That is when I got my wish like it or not…
Aura: (lying in bed and staring up at the ceiling) ...-_-…(sigh)…get sick the first week or two having come home and being stuck like a bump on a log cause of it. 9_9 Man I hate being half alien in cases like these. (rolls over) And Kori’s been tending to me non-stop too…-_-…>_>…if that keeps up she’s either going to get sick from the bug or of me…>.<…9_9 Am I ever going to get a day when I’m helping her for a change man? (rolls on his back) I have grown up since the Trigon incident and that one thing I know is that……I owe her my everything for being there when I needed it most. (pulls the covers aside and gets out of bed…
I need to get out for a bit…(notices its still raining) well…I suppose the roof won’t kill me for a bit. (quietly heads for the door…--------------------------
Starfire’s room
Starfire: (Tossing and turning, has a cold sweat running down her face…
>_<……GASP!*Star’s Nightmare*
In a darkended room where a girl is bound to metal restraints surrounded by scaly green aliens…
???????: Again!
Starfire: *bound and tortured with intense bursts of energy casted at her* (Shrieks in agony for 3 minutes…then it stops and she collapses upon her bindings) huff….hufff….why are you…
Gordanian Soldier: Hold your toung Troq! (smacks her across the face)
Gordanian Scientist: Such a specimen worthy for the citadel…Hmmm…the other one was right on saying that she would be far more bountiful than herself.
Starfire: !? (Tries struggling again but is too weak from her torture) …….(weakly looks up)…
G-Sci: The boy is also very resilient too….
G-Soldier: and what of him?
G-Sci: Already been sent and on his way to the citadel.
Starfire: O_O (lashes out in her restraints and cursing in her language)
G-Sci: Well now, obnoxious are we not? (reaches for the switch) Perhaps this should teach you (smiles eviley and the cannon rearms and blasts Starfire again)
*In slow motion*
Starfire: (Convulses with tears running down her cheeks as she took her last breath)
*Nightmare Ends*
Starfire: (jumps up in bead) STOOOOP!!!! (breathing hard and coughing from the ordeal…
Sniff…(starts coughing again as her fever got worse…and begins to cry)*Hallway*
Aura: (just exiting his room as he heard Star’s muffled cries in the other room) ? (puts his ear against the door…then gently knocks)
Starfire: EEEP! (quickly composes herself) who…who is it?
Aura: Its only me Kori.
Starfire: Oh! (gets up and goes to her door and opens it a creak to see her blue haired friend with a worried look in his eyes) Erick? What are you doing up? I thought I told you to stay and rest…(Coughs a couple of times)
Aura: Kori I heard you…(notices the sickly look in Star’s expression mixed in with her tears, pushes the door open and places a hand on her cheek) Kori? You don’t look too good…
Starfire: I…am fine Erick, ppp…
lease go back to…(her fever saps her strength and falls forward into her friend’s grasp) -///-…I do not feel soo…well…Aura: O_O (places a hand on her head) Your feverish…(Thinking: Must’ve caught my sickness after all her waiting on me…
Starfire: (feels herself starting to cry again…
Make it sttttooppp…sniff…the torture….>///<Aura: (sweeps her up bridal style and carries her back to bed) Wait here, I’ll get some water and a cloth (leaves for a few minutes and comes back with a bowl of water and a wash cloth)
Starfire: (tosses and turns) …
Aura: (tries to steady Starfire) Hold still Kori…
Starfire: LET ME GO!!!!!! (Throws Aura off and crashing into the ground, and continues to spasm )
Aura: (rolls over and gets back up) O_O (Thinking: She’s hallucinating from her fever) Kori! (goes back over and holds Starfire down with all his strength) Its me!
Starfire: Please do not hurt me!!! >///< (Tears streaming
down, and struggling)
Aura: Open your eyes! Its just me…Erick…(gently brushes her tears aside…
Starfire: (slowly opens her tear strained eyes) E…erick?
Aura: (Nods) …
Starfire: (Without warning she clings to Aura and shivers in her fevered state) dddddo not…leave me alone!
Aura: (Eases Starfire back down on her bed) Shhh…Lie back and we’ll take care of that fever.
Starfire: (Frightened) B…but…
Aura: (Warmly smiles) You’ll be okay.
Over the next hour Aura stayed at Star’s bedside, keeping an eye on her as she relaxed from a mixture of Aura’s healing and the cool damp cloth on her head. Her fever had begun to subside and her color in her face returned to its normal light orange. He gazed upon her in almost awe, this was the first time in forever that he really saw how beautiful she looked. The weirdest thing was that her eyes looked even prettier when she cried, like emeralds that shimmered when looked underwater, an inner light that he always felt hypnotized by.
Starfire: Erick?
Aura: O///O (snaps out of his trance) huh?
Starfire: I said are you feeling well?
Aura: (embarrassed) I….uh huh…sorry Kori, kinda spaced out for a sec ^_^;
Starfire: (gets up and feel’s Aura’s forehead) Your fever has gone away yes?
Aura: ^///^
Starfire: Thank X’hal, I was afraid that the worst would befall.
Aura: Nahh I’ve been ill and came clean from it before ^_^
Starfire: (giggle)
Aura: (changes the subject) Kori I heard you screaming in your
sleep…did you dream about something?
Starfire: O_o…I…nothing…Erick…(looks away) I was merely…just…er…
Aura: Kori…(tilts her head back around) I felt your soul being in pain.
Starfire: O////o…(turns away…
that is none of your business on what I dream of Erick…I appreciate you helping me now I insist you leave.Aura: What? Why?
Starfire: ……
lease go…Aura: (tries reaching for her shoulder) Somethings bothering you, I know there is.
Starfire: (Eyes flare up) GO AWAY!!! (push’s Aura off her bed and across the room with a loud thud)
Aura: OUCH! >_< (rolls to his side and pulls his hair aside)
Starfire: Gasp! (flies out of her bed and to his side) Erick I am sorry!!! I did not mean to cause you any more harm!
Aura: (sits up, with a sad look in his eyes) Kori, don’t be…if you don’t want to say anything I’ll leave.
Starfire: NO! (holds tight on his arm) please do not leave, stay with me. (walks him over to her bed and joins him) I am afraid that whenever my kind becomes unwell, our worst memories are re-lived in our dreams…
Aura: Sick dreams, I’ve had plenty of them. They make you dream of some really messed up…
Starfire: It is not just dreams Erick, they are our most unpleasant memories…-_- I do mean our most unpleasant ones.
Aura: (surprised) Really?
Starfire: (Nods) …(looks down at her lap) I had dreamed about being captured by Gordanians those years ago.
Aura: The same story you told us back on Tamaran?
Starfire: Exactly -///- but it felt so real dreaming of it, every detail of the expierence. (feels her tears beginning to form)
Aura: (brushes the hair out of her eyes) It really felt like that?
Starfire: >_< Like I was going to die from the torture…
Aura: Torture? (curious) What do you mean?
Starfire: (Shocked) I…-_-……You do not know?
Aura: What you said to us was what we know now. Kori, did something else happen?
Starfire: (nervious) …-_-…(gets up and goes to her window and opens it slightly…Then turns and looks at Aura with sadness in her eyes) you would be upset for not telling you this?
Aura: Huh? Why would I?
Starfire: Because it was something very traumatic that happened long ago during my capture!
Aura: O_o…
Starfire: O///O …-_-…(sits back down) Erick you know that I trust you with all my heart, yes?
Aura: (surprised) Course Love, you’re my best friend. What sort of thing would change that?
Starfire: (moves closer and staring into his eyes) Are you sure?
Aura: (almost to kissing distance) Promise
Starfire: …(sits back down) Before my escape I was held in custody for a few days…days that felt like months.
Aura: (nods to continue)
Starfire: I was…sniff…I was subjected to in humane torture procedures while in captivity.
Aura: …(Trying not to sound surprised) Go ahead.
Starfire: (wiping her eyes) What the Gordanians had inflicted on me was near fatal, I was infused with sharp implements, blasted at by their radiation cannons with high velocities to see how much punishment I could tolerate…(looks at her wrists) the bindings had subdued my powers so I could not escape nor fight back. Oh Erick…(looks into his eyes) I…their tests had nearly taken their toll upon me. Blood was taken, flesh was seared…I…I could still feel the Cannon’s blasts upon my body!
Aura: (moves over and takes her into his arms) Kori…I had no idea…
Starfire: that was not the worst thing…-_- My younger brother was taken away from where I was. And I…I remember hearing his screams! (choked up and started coughing again)
Aura: Shhh…you’ll make yourself sicker if you keep crying like this Kori...
Starfire: (crying into his shoulder) It really happened Erick! I am not too unwell to even lie!!!
Aura: I know your telling the truth Kori.
Starfire: I felt so violated from the entire…(resting her head on his shoulder)
Aura: You don’t need to say anything more about it. (slowly parts and tilts her head up and looks into her eyes) did you really feel that we would think less of you?
Starfire: You must understand Erick, having gone through so much pain all I wished to do was to forget it after coming to Earth. -_- There have been time I wanted to say something of it but I did not feel that Robin nor anyone would believe me.
Aura: Your wrong Kori, you know that there have been people who were abused in…
Starfire: I know that Erick! But this is vastly different… (rubbing her arms nervously) I was traumatized. Every ounce of me feels corrupted by what they have done.
Aura: (Concerned) Kori listen…
Starfire: …sniff…cough, cough…
Aura: What happened to you was something you never deserved, nor your brother. The suffering you felt, I also felt from your dream in my soul.
Starfire: Sniff…
Aura: It angers me that someone got subjected to you anything like that…I wish that I was there to have stopped it.
Starfire: Erick you must not blame yourself for what had befallen upon me.
Aura: I know but…you never had to be afraid to tell us this. You’re safe now and if they’d ever try anything like that against you again…I’d…I’d make sure that their crime would be dealt with by my hands. -///-
Starfire: (heartened by his answer) Erick…I…(blushes) you really mean that?
Aura: (looks down) Kori I owe you my life for so much that…-_- I don’t know if I’d ever be able to repay you for…you know.
Starfire: (takes his hands) Erick your presence alone is many thanks to me. And knowing that you care so much for me shows that I am…what is the word…Loved?
Aura: O///o…(slowly nods)
Starfire: But still, I do wish that my past would not hurt so much…and me being sick had me to relive the horrible time.
Aura: Time heals wounds Kori, Even ones that feel like they won’t, they do little by little.
Starfire: (lightly blushes and gently hugs Aura with tears in her eyes) I never thought that someone would show such compassion…
Aura: I’ve had my share of hurt and parts of me are still healing. How could I not understand?
Starfire: You…You are right…
lease forgive me for being such a…a…t….tr…tro…Aura: (cuts in) Don’t say it Kori. (holds her tight)
Starfire: …sigh…But what should I say to the others? I mean…I
have never said anything about this.
Aura: When you feel ready to talk about it, then we’ll tell them.
Starfire: we?
Aura: (looks into her eyes) It’s up to you to tell them. It wouldn’t be right if it was me nor be fair to you at all.
Starfire: (hiding her face in his shirt) I’m scared…
Aura: I’ll be right there with you hun. It’s okay now, nothing will ever hurt you anymore. Your family is here and…-///- I’m here to protect you.
Starfire: (feels her face blush uncontrolled…rest her head against his cheek) Erick?
Aura: hmm?
Starfire: I am truly blessed to have you in my heart…you know that yes?
Aura: (Trying not to tear up) same as you Kori ^///^ (Thinking: My beloved angel)
A’s POV: I don’t know what I was thinking back then…thinking that I could never repay her for everything. But I know better now, I was such a dumb ass for thinking that way. My presence was more than enough to repay for her everything, her heart…her love for me, all of that mattered the most and still does. A sensitive soul that out lived the worst to meet another that needed healing too. Healing…healing from the worst times of our lives, to wash away the dried blood that seemed to never go away. All this time I thought I was healing alone, we were healing each other as much as everyone is living underneath this roof. If there is anything I learned from my time away…that love is the best medicine for the deepest wounds.

Actually the comics/cartoon never specified that to happen, but from my experience of being sck and having bad nightmares while being sick, I thought it would've been more than likely to happen to even Tameranians since their emotions effect everything in their lives.
There's some factual evidence to sick dreams occuring.

The interesting thing is that I was under the weather when this idea came to mind.
Originally it was gonna be a nightmare only, but knowing that people have nightmares while being sick it was more approachable from that prospective.
Not to mention having acess to photoshop for the poem idea from college made it a true Poetry Pic ^///^

I don't think there was ever a time that Star had nightmares of her past...so its a first on my part ^_^
I was actually sick when this came to mind, plus the fact that wierd dreams can happen while sick also played a role.
Took me a while to get photoshop to work properly for the poem but finally got it to fit after some work.

I'm getting there, my weekend was shot but I have another long weekend so I cant complain.
I use the college computers for that little option of just using the text box.
