Description
Ruler of the Surface Land, Machine Lifeform Emynubus. (E-mon-nu-bus)Created by the military as final defensive weapon, main core is the heart of Legendary Hero who fought bravely and died in battle.
Each of its claws emitting different elements, unforturnately Emynubus has gone berserk from unknown reason...
While it may seem it's malfunctioning, Emynubus still seems to operating upon its own will... what is it that caused the rampage and what is it after...?
Story continues... just giving a little background and mystery of these characters in Arc Collections.

The glowly effects look good.
I can't make anything like that, looks like it's ready to kill something or someone. Kind of looks like something that would come from outer space, or built by someone with a lot of free time and know how to make something like that. The military seems to like making big robots. Looks like there's trees in the background, or maybe I'm not seeing clearly. I'm just babbling on.. well, it looks good and I like how it seems to glow.

They use the heart of hero to built it. The hero didn't have that kind of power before he was made into the machine.

Sounds like he's the most tough enemy to fight against.
Maybe my PSO character that's a RAmar at level 145 still can fight this guy.

Nah it's not the toughest, just need to have high def and res in battle. If you play RPG games you probably would know a boss with offensive power is scary.
PSO? Phantasy Star Online? I think some of the music I use to fit the characters and boss battles were from there... I know I got one for Archangel from PSO.

The effects are well done...and the idea with the 5 elements is great, looks like tentacles...sowwy XDD
Can I ask you something?
You used 5 different layers for the 5 flames...I think they're set on screen...you created the flame and you used the eraser tool.. or the smoth tool on it?

I'm still not good enough at drawing something technical and complex as this, even when I started drawing Megaman characters they weren't as complicated.
Those are claws, it's easier to see on b/w sketch, took a while to color this but looks like special effect took away all the colors.
The claws emitting energy but they aren't all flames though.
Light Blue: Ice, surronding by frosting icy pressure.
Red: Flame, easiest to see fire-shape energy.
Green: Wind, not as clear since it's a different way than the way I used to make windy effect, supposed to circling around the claws.
Blue: Water, kinda a challenge but I think I pulled it off with flowy water.
Yellow: Electricity, This is easy to tell too.
Brown: Earth, the energy around the claws looks like pieces of rocks covering the claw.
I didn't use the smooth tool, just erasing and creating flame.

I think a pic is much more awesome if it has a background story or a good description ^^, I really like what you have created here.
Hmm..ok then all these Colors are Auras of the Elements...hmm..you could try to use a Filter on the earth energy..it may looks a bit more stoney ^^...like the mosaik effect..and use the screen brush over it again...I tried it once and it looks nice. ^^..its just an idea XD

I'm not really that great with drawing earth elements. The rocks are pretty tough for me.

I forgot what intensity I used for erasing and made the flame. I guess it's because flame is the first effect I tried to create?

Yeah..well..Rock..I had in a BG once..and it was a pain to color it..., btw..are you creating your bg's on your own? or do you use photos and manipulate them in PS?
Ahh well this Filter is called collor glas-mosaic filter..you can find it under structure-filter XDD

Background I actually do it in both. Mostly I found it easier to create a suitable background with different photos and adding some stuff of my own can improve a picture a lot.

Oh yeah thats right XD...well until now I just tried to put a photo into my BG's or to draw them on my own... but it may be a great effect to put two photos together as a layer...and use some effects on it...never tried that before....but it seems you did ^^

Awesome work. if you think about it in games, there's something nasty that always have to do with the military or the government. Anyway, this pic is great and you have a good background: monster going berserk, but has a legendary hero as its core. Nice one buddy.

Rather saying core, more like it is build in with a human heart. That's why it's a Machine lifeform and not just mecha.
Idea came from Megaman X series when they wanted "a robot with heart".
This character is a giant, you can probably guessing how tough it is to fight it in the game.
