For people who can't read the Japanese text for the second comic, here's the translation.
Panel 1:
Mr. Steve: OK, so you're not that weak.
BUT! You cannot beat my ultimate weapon!
Nightmare: Wha? You again?
Panel 2:
Mr. Steve: ShUT UP!
Take this, MY ULTIMATE ATTACK!!
Panel 3:
Mr. Steve: Woops.
*splat*
Nightmare: ...
Panel 4:
Nightmare: What's up with you every time?!
Hurry up and die, damnit!
Mr. Steve: I-I surrender.. M-my apologies...

XDDDDD dis one is really funny. once again, poor Mr Steve XDDDD he was caught a good pastured by dis nasty Nightmare LMAO. i must say that it's becoz of his clumsiness and his stupidity. and now, it's him which will be cleaned, poor guy.
on the first panel, Nightmare seems tired or lazy LOL and Mr Steve, i see his mouth, he makes me think to Carbuncle, in Puyopop fever (i'm sure that yu know dis game) When Carbuncle does his last attack (about 12 and 15 chains) he saids: Tadadaaaa!! i know, it's tupid, but good. must say that i play dis game so much, anyways...
ah yes, when i see the second version, the translation is really different, but also more funny to read, when Mr Steve insults and provoke Nightmare... LOOOL too delirious! i'll fave dis too.

He's not really feeling any pain because his being is pretty mysterious. Don't know about his structure and perhaps he's just a character born to be beat up?
Carbuncle in Puyopop? I'm not sure which game that is. Got screen shots?

I'd love to be able to do this kind of thing myself... and I just love the fact that you've spent so... little effort making it fit into both dialogues ^^
And is it just me, or do authors enjoy tormenting their own characters? I know that I put my guys through hell and back on a regular rota (having over a hundred to play with, it's fun ^^) and it's just so much fun to see them get mad, thumped, beaten, crazy, confused, utterly, utterly stunned senseless...
Why are all authors sadists? I mean, in the simplest sense of the term, our artist here has just deliberately drawn Nightmare getting hit in the face by a close range broom. Does anybody here question his partial sadism? I know that you laughed, Nezumi, you can't not have at least enjoyed it. You sadist.
On a lighter note, we want more Mr Steve beating!!

Mr. Steve is not my character but ~stevew . He's my friend since elementary school and quite an artist.
I'm pretty fond to know he is allowing me to use any of his characters in the story because he has a large collection and each characters could fit perfectly in any occassion.
I kinda do want to laugh but I just woke up so brain probably not as functional as it should be. 
I knew Mr. Steve would be a favorite character to most people.

Come on, don't tell me that seeing Nightmare get a broom in the face didn't make you smile? I meant that in the process of creating a story, to get certain elements of the plot to work, you need to have your character either severely embarrassed or hurt, and any character that doesn't get that is just flat. So I enjoy it *immeasurably* when I come to a point where I can make my characters richer and fuller by making them more human in a way that's either physically or mentally (in the funny sense mostly) eeeeevil.
And I know who Mr Steve belongs to, I've even wandered around his page a couple of times XP
