I think there's no such a secret....
everything depends on the type of paper and watercolors
first of all you have to study watercolors on dry paper then on wet paper - you will see the difference between 2 methods
third important thing - brushes, big and wide for backgrounds, and
round with different sizes
i make details with round # 0...
i think that standard watercolor cardboard is about 300-350 g/m2 with light relief...

Yeah, you have all the right stuff.
I get wrapped up in paper, I mean I love the feel and the smell of the many available papers.
Thanks for all of the brush info., this is logical.
I love the smell of the inks and paints, too.
In college, you could usually find me in the art rooms, I do reading wherever, and whenever I can.
