ironicly its greatist weak spot is the orginal models "mold line" (near and through ears)
also i see a grey/blueish stain on the hair.
BUT i love the ammo, the wing and the dead cute way she is holding the sword (and of case the "derp").
do like this.
as i am cowenidently have a art work (very much work in progfress and done a a "luxurus" pase) whitch will be derpy (as drago) fighing discord (as the demon whoms name i forget) taken from the consept art in the codex. (key feture will be insped of fire it will be bubles.)

Ranged weapon - $3 to 5
Nemesis weapon - $3
Wings - $4.50
Embellishments - $2.50
40mm base - $3

ive been looking around and it seems more cost effective to produce several of them at once. looks to be about $70 to produce 10 of them not including the polymer clay.

was there any specific reason for sculpy vs. the epoxy made for modeling?

azurevine In reply to angelstrike2008 [2012-05-03 03:30:30 +0000 UTC]
I use both. Sculpey is much easier to mold, and i find epoxy too sticky to get the details (i'm not used to it). But once it comes to sculpting hair and i have already put on some warhammer parts, i switch to greenstuff.
First reason is that i cant bake too much when the warhammer parts are on, they wont melt, but they will definitely deform and lose detail.
2nd reason, it is also particularly important for the fragile parts, like sharp hair tips which crack easily. Greenstuff is super impact resistant. Derpy and RD's fringes are epoxy.
