About Gerald, it seems like some of the POV will be taken by him also. If Gerald stays aloof, he looks a lot like Cain who majority doesn't display emotions in Fantasia and it's hard to write his thoughts. As for now, I think he should sound like your regular guy (Regular guys are hard to write!) who is still calm and more mature than most of the people in the series with a touch of snarkiness, which, is oddly fitting with Mike's impulsive and brash behavior. Although when interacting with other people he is quite polite and keeps to himself.
The battles are inspired from FFTactics, actually. I hope they are not too hard/boring XD

I see! Well, Gerald's a very likeable guy either way, and you're a really good writer, so whatever the end result with him will be, I'm sure it's going be great.
The battles are cool! I was asking because I've also wanted to make a Ren'Py game with battles in the style of FFT, but since FFT is so complex, I decided I'd make it more like Pretty Soldier Wars (which is basically a simplified FFT). Either way, it's going to be a long time before I'd even get down to making it, and in the meantime, I bow down to your programming skills.
Are enemies going to have any "special" skills? Like a "charm" ability for Sydonai, or anything like that?

Downloading now at the speed of a snail. Looking forward to the sound, music, and apparently voice acting... wait. The only Ren'Py game that has working sound on my crappy computer is Katawa Shoujo (No idea why). Crap.

Music ,Sound effects & Voice:
- I’m not really the music type of person but I tried hard by listening carefully to each of them! The main menu’s theme made me thought of penguins, I don’t even know why.
- XD Alicia’s first appearance’s theme was so pure and innocent~! The music that started playing when someone’s telling the story of the seven demons sounds mysteriously creepy yet sad.
- The battle theme music was badass! XD The first meeting CG is just asdfghjkl and the music makes it better!! So innocent, sweet and pure!
- Yuri’s theme sounds calming and old-school, so different from what I first heard in doppelganger. XD
- Corren’s theme… it’s official I shall call this theme the penguin’s melody.
- Another sad and beautiful music when Mike was disappointed because no one is giving her a job to do.
- The music when Gerald was at the alley suits the atmosphere very well.
- After Valerie leaves, the music when Mike is talking with Gerald is once again calm, it sounds tired, I mean it suits them since they had a long day and all.
- The moment I heard the music when Mike found out Gerald is snooping around one word pop in my mind which is ‘BUSTED!’
- After Gerald beat Mike, the music sounds so light and victorious, LOL.
- Jun’s theme was so cool, as expected for the bishounen! Jk~ Jk~
- The sound effects are very good as well as the voices! XD The first time I heard the sound of the Vestigials, I thought it was a cat’s sound. XD
Sorry I can’t comment much since I’m kind of afraid that the computer gonna crash down so yeah…

They’re getting better and better!! Animated sprites and RPG elements adds some points as well! I personally like the cg scene of Mike’s Gammatron punch~ Antares Why you no appear yet?? I’m liking all the improvement I see~ The shadings and proportions are getting better, well, I told you that already! XD
Story:
I LOOOOVE it! Your writing is getting better as well! I like that you explained more about the story and the origin. It gives me more impact! Also, their first meeting was so cute! I’m so glad you wrote it! Hehehe~ !
Some random comments:
Why no Antares?? Just kidding! Since I was playing evil Mike, I decided to check out the second drawer~~ 
Mistakes:
-The third line Alicia said was, ‘Please select between Story Mode or Battle Mode” – I think instead of ‘or’ it’s ‘and’…
- At the fourth line that Alicia said, ‘The difference between them is that Gerald and Mike is equipped with a skill that is named Story mode that lets you kill all enemies.’ - This sentence kind of sound weird… Maybe you forgot to place ‘in’ between ‘named’ and ‘Story mode’
- At the fifth line after the choice of the mode you wrote, ‘There was a strange man who suddenly appeared in a small town that was inhabitated by a very small population.’ - You spelled wrong ‘inhabitated’, it’s ‘inhabited’
- When going to the restaurant for the first time and talking to Yuri right after his intro, Mike says, ‘Are you sure you don’t me to investigate, I’m pretty good at what I do.’ - I think you forgot to add ‘want’ between ‘don’t’ and ‘me’.
- At the first visit to the gift shop, just before mine truly’s (Coren) introduction ended, mike’s thinking, ‘Well, it doesn’t hurt to at least look around. I’ll probably find someone cosp needs help anyway…’ - Um, is ‘cosp’ a typo which is meant to be ‘who’ or is it a word that I don’t know? Well, since I’m still young and all.
- When you chose inspect and click on the Newspaper on the table about a scandal or something, Mike says, ‘I hope you stumble off a stair and humilliate yourself.’ – Instead of humilliate I think it’s humiliate, only one ‘l’ is needed.
- When Mike introduces Valerie and a few lines after that, Gerald says ‘So when did he dissapear?’ - I think the right spelling is ‘disappear’ instead of ‘dissapear’
- Then, not too long afterwards, Valerie explains about Mikhail’s disappearance and says, ‘I went to his best friend’s house, but she said she thought his friend was staying over at Mikhail’s house!’ - I think it would be better to define who ‘she’ is, its Mikhail’s friend’s mother, right? LOL, I though Mikhail’s best friend was a girl. XD
- Uh... There’s a part not too long after Gerald mention about the possibility of an accident and Valerie begs Mike to find them, then it wrote, ‘Suddenly Mike stands up and raises his index finger high. There she goes again…’ – LOL, you wrote ‘he’ instead of ‘she’ XXD

Feedback time!
Music: I liked it! I love the music at the title screen; it was so bouncy and energetic. And the music throughout was fitting, too.
Background: The backgrounds did their job. It didn't look out of place with the sprites, and it jump out too much. It kind of... faded in the background (LOL I SO WITTY /shot)
Sprites: The touch of animation is awesome! It certainly gave it more life!
Interface: I liked the detective-ly feel of the text box and options and the little box for whoever's POV is it. The little notes and inspecting and talking is nice. I don't think I've seen it before in a Ren'py visual novel; I like it 
CGs: I love the CG! It's so pretty! It gave it a very magical feel!
Story: I especially liked how the remake focused on Mike and Gerald's relationship; how they met, their little interactions.... It gave more closure to their relationship. I loved seeing Jun and Yuri! *looks forward to other doppelganger characters appearing*
RPG: Loved the voices! Nice touch. Mike's voice is so cute; just like I imagined. The battle system is awesome. I liked it. It invovles the readers more and saves the pain of battle scenes
All in all, I look forward to Re:Set! Good luck!

AND....FEEDBACK! Done with my first play through (will play it again to access more dialogue, of course XD)
Excellent writing. Feels like a detective story, but with a supernatural twist~ I also really liked the battle system. It's a bit frustrating for it to be turned based, but none the less, it was fun. Turn-based requires more stragety anyway, which in a sense can be more challenging (it may of been easy now, but....I have a feeling those weird Vestigals are gonna make me wanna pull my hair out eventually...) I also like Gerald and Mike's special moves! And their battle voices. Gerald sounds awesome, and Mike's voice is cute but she's still a kickass! Jun's voice was matching as well, my only problem is her "Hyah!" sounded weak.
So, the story is really interesting! More and more I wanted learn about the box, and then Gerald's missing members, and who (or what) he is. I feel sad that there is a possibility of Mike losing her memory of the demons when this is all over, but we'll see how it plays out! It was awesome to see Jun and Yuri again, all grown up. I wonder if they'll mention the Doppelganger incidents that had preceeded (Jun sorta hinted toward it with the "is the Lee family responsible?" and "I've seen much worse"). I also love the Inspect option and the awesome notebook! I love reading Mike's notes. So interesting, and sometimes comedic (like what she wrote for Gerald XD)
The animated lipflaps and blinking eyes really add a nice, professional touch to the game. It's so weird, being used to static sprites, so this was a MAJOR change to the feel, in a good way!
My only MAJOR complaint....
KYAAAAH!!!! IT ENDED BEFORE THE NEXT BATTLE?! SO SHORT! GIMME MORE, MORE, MOOOOOOOOOOORE! (So mean, you knew it my proofreading went a little beyond the demo, didn't you?

I wonder how much of doppelganger do you want to be fleshed out, as for now I can only drop small hints XD The clues will be updated as you progress, and when you play as gerald and go to investigate once again, the things you can investigate is different and what he says when inspecting things will be different than Mike.
Lol~ I wish you also comment in the lemma thread, 'cause I wish that there are more games like this instead of otome games! XD

Ah yes, I shall comment there, too! I also like playing some non-otome as well (even though I am currently making one...but it's just 'cause I wanna try out making one XD). My main projects aren't otome, though, any relationships are all permanent set~ It's nice to see something new like this pop up! Hopefully it'll inspire others, too.
One of the coolest aspects is the fact that the main character perspectives switch, which I found very refreshing! It's even more neat since it's a male and female perspective!
