...Hey wait, that's cheatingPff, I dont have any good pics of Quat with his "daddies," so I made one. Used my not-lazy style of shading so it doesn't look as halfassed, but it could still be better....
At least now you can see where Quat draws certain traits from his parents...

Of the pic? Nah not really. Of the middle character? There's a description here , but it's really long. The tl;dr version is basically "MULTIPLE UNIVERSES CO-EXIST SO NOW ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE" as an excuse for me to create Reploid Hedgehogs.
This particular character - Quattuor - was born out of silly phase where I shipped Sonic and Zero, but I don't do that anymore. I've since grown out of it.

I love your art style. Sonic is cuter in your style, while "cooler" in the official one. The way you draw Sonic and Zero look really cool together, and Quat serves as the one who completes the chain.

I see where you're coming from. I find it surprising, but I suck with human-like characters. I tried Proto Man, but he just looks off. And Bass turned out bad as well.

Yeah, the detail part was exactly what I was thinking. And don't worry, I suck with human-like characters too! I can do animals and humanoid animals and animal robots with ease, but anything strictly human-like always gives me trouble. 
But the only reason I can even draw standard human-looking reploids is that they have that bulky armor to cover up those human-lookin' limbs I can never draw. They're giant ovals! And I like round shapes, they're my best friend.
