I love what you do, but please move the text to some were other than the middle of the image. It really is distracting.
I know its for copy write issues, no one blames you there.

omgosh... that's soo good. You based it on a dream? I'd have trouble making my dreams into artworks... So random. lol. i might try it and steal your idea, then again, i might not. great work!

Having archetypal dreams could carry you in really old time.
If you believe that our subconscious contain our past and future,
it's easy to understand what we could dream.
It's great that you understand symbols and tell us about it !
I think you could have been an egyptian in a past life !
I would like to have dreams that could be somekind of
prophetical, but it never happened ... or I didn't notice.
Anyway looking at your dream is quite amazing !

azurylipfe In reply to danmoore [2006-11-09 01:16:12 +0000 UTC]

that is something i believe to, that it contains both or past, and our future
I have always been fascinated by the symbols in a dream, i have several books about it, just to understand what i'm dreaming, to see what they are telling me.
You aren't the first who says that i could have been an egyptian in a past life, it would explain my fascination for egyptian gods, and in a way its no wonder that it was anubis that i dreamed about, because i do find him fascinating
about prophetical dreams, maybe you have dreamed those, but they are hard to recognize i think.

It was a strange dream, nightmare combined with piece at the end, and each minute realising that i was dreaming, and that i had to confront something, what made me not want to wake up till the end, and as reward he came

Okay, so it was your dream, first I thought Anubis was the dreamer - and that he dreamt of a lady he desired . I've never dreamt anything like that, not about gods that is. But a friend told me recently that she keeps dreaming of Apollo, and she can't get those dreams off her mind. 4 or 5 dreams has she had in less than a month, and she has no clue why, she has never been that interested in mythology or classic art or anything. I told her to look up Apollo and see if she finds anything relating to her life, and I wonder what she'll dig up.

Wonderful hues in the artwork, and it really looks like an outerworld temple.

lol that could be to

this is what i got when i searched for information about dreaming about ancient gods

When you have a dream with imagery as defined as an ancient god or any other mythological imagery your dream is archetypal. Archetypal dreams often accompany life changing events, usually with a spiritual awakening or redemption of the psyche from a aspect that controlled your life.
The archetypal image is the dream providing a pathway to full discovery of the true self, the God or Goddess symbolizing that which you seek is within your psyche. To reach out and accpet it as a positive message to be recieved and incorporated in your life is the next big step in discovery of the true self, the you to wish to be, the you that you were meant to be

thank you , sweety some dreams i hardly remember to, but these kinds of dreams, i keep remember them almost forever, because i think they tell me something "anubis" actually did tell me some things, and the garden was some kind of promise to a better thing, where i would find another challenge in the form of a gatekeeper, so i think the gatekeeper stands for myself who must accept some things, or fight against some fears etc so when i meet that gatekeeper again, i know i have to deal with some things before i can enter another part of something
