This is not even joking the fourth time I've redesigned her LMAOOO-
I can never be fully happy with how I draw her.. Though I actually am very happy with this version X3
This version actually show's her height better, and is much more pleasing to the eye and easier to draw! Aaannddd gives a second option for if you don't wanna draw the uniform :]

And unlike the last re-redesign , I'm adding her new and improved backstory n' fun stuff! Yayy!!

Species: Ghost possessing a doll (but she doesn't know that muahahaha)
Hobbies: Training.. If that’s even a hobby (and baking, she’s real good at making red velvet cakes hehehehe)

- Being made fun of for her lack of social knowledge (she’s really bad at conversations, she’s too emotionless and oblivious)

- Sentinels (Large pillars she summons from the ground that shoot lasers and orbs. Doesn’t use these… Ever, unless she has to)
- …She actually doesn’t have a lot of magic lol, she’s really physically fit and very well trained in combat that it’s almost magical enough how freaking good she is

Backstory but really summed up because I ain’t finna try and write a whole dang novel series lmao:
Parents were ghosts - father was an inventor, and worked on making realistic doll bodies for ghosts to possess so they could live out their lives like other people - the monster race was attacked, and the father and mother had to leave their child, Red, behind to fight because they were getting cornered - When they left Red behind, they gave the little baby ghost a special bow with a green gem in the center, which locked Red’s ghost body within the WIP doll body that was never able to enter the public eye - Though, with the doll body being still a prototype, it forced Red into a coma of sorts, where she didn’t age or anything until many years later - Eventually awoke, and was found by a young-ish Undyne, who was determined to raise this poor baby that was left behind - grew up with Asriel for a little while, before Asriel’s events played out with Chara - Left little Red devastated, and not long after begged Alphys to bring Asriel back, which helped influence the creation of Flowey - Though, after some time, Red came to learn that it would “never work” and that she couldn’t bring Asriel back, and tried her best to move on - Skip to many years later, when she became of age she joined the Royal Guard, and sought to protect the people of the Underground to the best of her abilities…
(Now for the trauma part hehehe >:] }
One day, Red was attacked by Flowey (after Frisk’s pacifist run through), who at the time didn’t even know who Red was (not all of his memories were recollected when he became Flowey, so he 100% forgot about the existence of Red), but eventually Red captured Flowey and questioned him - She learned who Flowey really was, and felt absolutely horrible coming to realize that she was one of the reasons for why he even became Flowey - Flowey took advantage of that, and used her guilt to control her - Before Red could get into her right mind, Flowey took over, and abused her violently (at one point piercing her SOUL with a vine to keep her under his control. Her SOUL now forever has a hole in the center of it) - After months of this torture, she gave in to his full control, and with the guilt stabbed deep within her brain she became his servant for his evil deeds - eventually, it got to a point where Flowey had Red take him to the surface, and hunt down human SOULS for him to become Asriel again - After becoming Asriel, it allowed him to torture Red even more, now able to alter time and kill her over and over and over again - He did all of this in secret, so no one would even know what was going on - One of the things he made her do was kill her own mother, Undyne, with the promise of bringing Undyne back.. But only to lie to her face and keep Undyne dead after Red killed her…
(And now some happy stuff after all the trauma :] )
After years of torture, suddenly, a new character appeared; A cat version of Flowey - He was traumatized from his own experiences, and a violent person. He attacked out of fear, and was easily susceptible to self harm and suicide.. And Asriel wanted to take control of this situation - After this new Flowey was thrown into the world from a strange, random portal, Asriel was quick to find him and try to drag him under his control - Flowey was tortured by Asriel, and tore himself to dust over and over again to try and escape Asriel’s manipulative grasp, but was only brought back each time - As part of one of Asriel’s horrible torture ideas, he forced Red (an already traumatized and emotionless mess) to comfort Flowey after every torture session to try and give Flowey some sort of hope - Asriel originally planned for this to play out for months, before he killed Red in front of Flowey, and made him loose all hope all over again, but his plan had turned on him - After months of Flowey and Red bonding through this new “comfort system”, Flowey had devised a plan to help them both escape. Red was hesitant to go along with it, and heavily advised against it, but once the actual plan took place and Flowey was in trouble, Red stepped up and destroyed 6 of Asriel’s 7 SOULS, weakening him heavily. With their chance to escape, Flowey urged Red to open a portal to get out of that world, and with the heavy pressure on her Red obliged - they escaped from Asriel’s miserable grasp, and landed in a new world, shaken and half alive…

Personality, now that you know her backstory:
She’s pretty dang emotionless after the whole abuse thing, emotionally hardened after seeing the worst of her childhood best friend. She’s not good at holding conversations, and often misunderstands things. She doesn’t trust easy, and is hesitant to do a lot of things that make her feel even slightly uneasy. She doesn’t hate people, but she finds it incredibly hard to learn to love people too. She’s incredibly innocent and doesn’t know much about romance, and most likely thinks that you can get pregnant by kissing lmaoo- She speaks very proper, and most of the time seems very weird to people. When feeling stressed or too much of any sort of emotion, she puts on her full face-covering mask to hide her face in order to help herself cope with the emotions. She isn’t a bad person at all, but is just traumatized :[

Fun Fact: She always has to be fully covered in clothes. She absolutely HATES swimsuits or anything that even shows her body a little too much. It’s not for any self conscious reason, it just physically makes herself uncomfortable

Her healing arc isn’t necessarily canon to her story, it’s more of just a version of her I like to think of at times where she’s actually happy and can feel emotions :]
