I prefer the before too. The watercolor shading is a little messy. Plus I like his pose better in the old one.

I prefer the before only because I like pencil better than watercolor. That being said, brought Cloud 'to life', if you will, with the accurate coloring you gave him, & he is painted brilliantly. It's very difficult to compare them because the mediums are so different
