all of a sudden the ground seems so much closer and the sky is too far to reach. again.we've been through that. but go back up, that's where you're supposed to be.

Love the title, the idea and the whole work...
it still seems like a really dark and violent work despite all the "pretty colors"
I guess it could be even darker if you gave your knuckles more character (it might seem as if they were about to be used for punching lolz 
The kid looks like a lil cartoon version of you all mad and about to beat up the other lil girl in d work lolz

heheh yeah i actually have to retouch the lines, i'm kinda restless looking at the drawing knowing parts of it look unfinished. and YES you got it it's supposed to be a mad little meee. hehehe

but i can't help but be very moved by the concept...it's such a sad one, indeed...the point at which a child's innoncence and carefree nature is replaced by some of the ugly "adult" emotions and traits. Sad, but inevitable...this is such a unique way of capturing such a moment; having material possessions, and the desire for them, intefere in a typical moment of child's play.

thanks sweetie, yeah i know it's not such an innocent picture. i remember about a year back when i was studying up on paintings by mark ryden who had this dark way of showing how kids arent as innocent as they seem. this one is a little dark if you dwell on the story i suppose.

yup, all photoshop.. the thickness.. well that can be controlled with the wacom, if you press harder the lines will become thicker. it's still hard getting used to drawing with it, it took me so long to make this one. about two weeks, working every night on it..

i like the over-all composition of this piece of yours because it looks as though you just used a spray paint to color this. and the story of jealousy was beautifully narrated.

Hehe... yeah, that brings back the memories from elementry school... when you always didn't seem to care what others thought (or so you believed). Then suddenly someone has something cooler, and suddenly no one cares to pay attention to you and they get all the views... you feel leftout... sadness strikes and then... you declare your rival ^_^'

haha i got addicted to the borrowed tablet i went out to buy my own, and slightly bigger. this is the first drawing i've done with this tablet. just used photoshop, i don't know much about the other programs though i know i should. i'll study up on it soon. hehe. and thanks
