HI look at this beautiful outfit my girl Cecily got gifted yesterday.
I love it so much, it was also just really fun to draw. The off-white dress serves as a canvas for many, many different ideas and the like. It even has me elaborating on her story more, as well as that of her boyfriend Finn. The colors were a bit too adventurous for me and I loved it, the cold tints give a balanced overview and the green on the top definitely helps convey the youth in the love between them. Though, I also planted it there because I felt it relates to the genuine appreciation I feel for the gifter.
If Ethii/Nom, the co-owner of Finn, is ok with it then I want to write it as him giving her the dress that she wears a lot in warmer places when traveling around. Her family is quite poor, so she's often wearing a warm dress or her regular formal clothing that aren't that appropriate for said warmer environments. She lives in Luminoire, a very cold town in the far north of the continent.

The dress makes her a bit more discreet, because she doesn't want to dishonor Finn's kindness and it helps the stigma around her horns so it eases her greatly. It also makes her happy to have such a simplicity to enjoy, even if it gets her mistaken to be a totally different Annie. Also, at last, I kinda want to make their kid (if they have one) have a daisy blessing due to it being a symbol of their pure love I imagine for them
I hope that, if Nom is ok with it, I can also make Finn a matching outfit. I really do love it and the story behind it is inspired by the fact mintae-chii bought it for me as a gift. Again, thank you so much for buying it for me. I really cherish it and it's definitely going to get it's own story and page on Toyhouse in the future.

It kind of reminds me of how if I didn't get inspired enough to name her Cecily, I would've gone with Eline (ey-lee-nuh). But it didn't sound British enough, and I wanted her to kind of be British influenced. Cecily also reminds me of the song Cecily Smith , I wanted her to be the kind of person to make everyone enjoy anything they do with her hence her confidence and friendliness.
