Until the startlingly rapid emergence and ongoing development of “…. Árés within me…. ” (as he often says with with smirk), former U.S. Army Master Sergeant Victor Stephan Botzvaris was fairly assured that he’d spend at least a decade in USDB Ft. Leavenworth for gross insubordination, multiple counts of aggravated assault, egregious destruction of U.S. Government property and documented intent to solicit himself and colleagues (his subordinates) as mercenaries to foreign entities.

He was offered a reprieve and reinstatement into the U.S. Army (though at noticeably reduced rank and pay-grade), with a massive retirement [with preposterous, near-exclusive investment options] package, provided he join SDTF: GLORY for “… duration undetermined, dependent upon both the measure and quality of contribution to national security and conduct within the organization…” He took it, perhaps to the regret of both the DOD and the DHS.

Victor’s behavior and personality are showing disturbing signs, not only of reversion towards the tendencies that caused his predicament, but something possibly far worse… In actuality, it is just that: Ares – the Greek god of Battle, Battle-Frenzy/Bloodlust and War – is aggressively trying to attain permanent dominance over Victor.

Even Dr. Sophia Agape – though one of the world’s most accomplished psychotherapists, a “New Human” psioncist of considerable power and a magician of equal skill – is worried whether she can initiate a viable transition of both souls into the ideal state of “Viable Integration”.
