This is an illustration I did for a warhammer 40k book with Fantasy Flight some time last year. Had some fun doing a mech illustration, definitely not my usual area.Related content

The Broadside has been my favorite in-game unit and overall model for quite a while.

It cannot be denied how cool this piece is.
The broadside is a gret model, but I prefer the XV-8 or XV-9. The '88 is a little too static for me. A trio of '8s wielding fusion guns, plasma rifles and shield generator can do exactly what a trio of '88s can do, an get out of the way of retaliation when they're done.
That said, friend of mine has a single '88, first turn of the game, one-shottted my other friend's Fire Prism across the board.

Especially love the re-designed legs.
Railguns are a tad short.
