Awesome! Congrats on the DD!
I love HDR - trying to get myself for some neat shots too.
Can you tell me - getting more that 3 shots is necessary for nice results ? or is that killing the harsh contrast when images merged ?
thanks in advance for your reply

that's a great question. I normally do 5. honestyl, I'm not sure if I've ever personally done 3 so I can't speak to intelligently about it. however, i have seen some people who've used 3 shots and gotten great results. it mainly depends on how large the disparity is between the shadows and highlights in the image. if it's not too big 3 image should be fine. hope that helps

Thank you so much for taking time to explain that to me. I'll try my self more than 3 shots - then I'll see that I'll come up with.

Portland, Oregon?
That's a bigass airport for a city like that.
It is growing pretty fast though.

hi, thanks for checking out the pic. an hdr (or high dynamic range) shot is an image that is actually comprised of several different shots of the same image and different exposures. the idea is to make it so the image covers the entire dynamic range. that is why there is so much detail in these types of shots. i'd recommend doing a quick google search. it's a very neat type of photography and there is a wealth of knowledge on the subject out there with some great tutorials and examples. hope that helps
