Description
It's been a while since I've used oil pastels, this is my second attempt at a colour study of hands. The first one went a bit rainbow colours mad. Limited the colour palette a little more in this one.I may come back to this and finish it off if I decide to pick it for my Drawing Composition module.

I would say work big, the picture above is A3.
Have good reference images and take note of colours lighting etc. I tend to exaggerate the colours.

I love everything about this piece.
To me, it seems the hands are desperately clutching at one another; as if one person is falling over a cliff or something.
