well, I asked the designer of the character what breed she was based on but they said that it was nothing in particular but just features that they liked such as the floppy ears. I'm thinking doberman mix for the muzzle shape but their muzzles are too long.... I just like how "sturdy" they look. I'd say she's a tough pup and I want it to show  That being said, her body would be more compact and in my view would be a little stumpy. So...a medium-sized short-coated dog with a shorter torso and legs with tiny fluff on her tail nubbin. about the reference pic, can you see her freckles alright on your screen? they're fairly light in color.
