I love your designs so much, this one is simple - by the color scheme, yet beautiful! This is a good example that designs don't necessarily be complicated with many colors to be impressive. You are very good at anatomy, the hyena's built is almost perfect. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that hyenas have more rounded ears and you do not mention that he would be some sort of a hybrid. Also, I am not sure what do you mean by transient as a personality trait, I think 'restless' would be a better word to say he won't stay in place for long but you know this better. Overall, awesome work!

Hello! Time for a small review. ^^
First off, anatomy. I looked at a few pictures of some stripped hyena's prior to this review for comparison. And now I can say with confidence that this looks really correct! I don't much see anatomy problems, everything seems well sized and the proportions look really good.
Next the style! The style looks really nice, a mix of realism and your own unique style stroked onto it, making it look very appealing the the eye. I especially like the way you do paws and faces, the ears too look extremely nice!
No shading is done here. However, no points will be taken away, since ref sheets shouldn't be shaded. ^^
Next, the color and design. The color and design to this piece is very nice, the colors match together and give it a set color scheme instead of random. They fit together nicely The markings look nice too, simplistic yet unique in its own way.

Personalitys: Protective, bold, fair, inquisitive, transient, claustrophobic.
Fairly well balanced, however I don't think claustrophobic is a personality trait.

Dislikes: Ignorance, disobedience, laziness, recklessness
Medium length fur.
Thick mane.
