Description Compared to how everyone else seems to draw things on a computer, I don't really do anything special. I don't even draw on the computer most of the time. I sketch it out on paper, scan it, trace it in Flash, then fill it in with color and remove the lines. I think the pics still come out great, so I'm fine with that.

i agree. i like the result, but i also love the pencil draw. maybe try something in between? i admit, i have no idea how to combine the two, but i'm sure it could be really cool if somehow you manage to do it

hmm... i see your point. digitally, it going to be pain in the ass to scan the pencil work and try to maintain it. i didnt think it through hmm...

But don't you think that when I get rid of the lines, the pic just looks more clean and a little 3-dimensional?

it looks like computer generated cartoons (i.e. cartoon network cartoons)

well, a few people have compared my stuff to Tartakovsky's work in Samurai Jack (which makes me happy to say the least), so I don't really see it as a bad thing... Unless it's like the stupid sh*t they put on CN these days.

It's always good to see how people work. It goes to show there's no set right or wrong way to do it. I tend to do all my drawing on paper 1st as well I find it easier to get everything in proportion
