This is my version of Jessica Peffer's Phoenix from her book "Dragonart". I had so much fun doing this, but I wish I had put more thought into the composition before I started painting as there is a lot of negative space at the top. I am impressed with myself though because this is my second painting ever! I apologize for the horrible phone quality. I'll take a better pic once I get my camera back. I just couldn't wait to share it with you guys!
