1000% and definitely the mouse Max, is too adorable x3
I would love to buy this series, but it is not anywhere, not even Amazon. It is not in download in good quality either. At least it's on You tube.
Right now I'm looking for series and movies with mice.

So you'd like Basil, Redwall and even Geronimo Stilton.

Totally, I hope to get those series soon. The mice are so adorable and great.
One question, do you know where I can find Capitol Critters with good video quality?

Last I checked was 'Kissanime' but I haven't gone there since Kissanime nearly gave my laptop a virus. It takes the audio from the average English dub and the video quality from the German dub.

Very nice pic, I used to be very fan of Capitol Critters (Max el ratΓ³n in spanish) back in 1993, I saw all episodes, I felt sad when they stopped airing it, I only knew it had only 12 episodes in 1998 when I started using internet.
By the way I like the way you drew Jammet's big round balloon belly.
I know this deviation is very old, but it is the first time I see it and I want to value your work

Thanks ever so much! You don't know what that means to me! I should put up my older work for everone to se. If I ever drew Jammit again, I'd make him look softer and use paint shop to colour him in.
Thanks again. Your opinion means a lot to me!

You welcome, but I prefer traditional techniques, I don't believe digital are over traditional techniques.
So I would like it a lot if you paint it in a traditional way ^_^

Thats a nice guesture but a computer saves you a lot of art and the picture turns out more beautiful. I even put in realistic shades. I coloured this pic, not paint it.

I think you mean "computer saves you a lot of time" cause computers don't make art.
Well, I think that's the reason traditional work is called "art", there is beauty in things that have been made by your own hands and that's not the same compared to a computer generated image, cause the pc only "emulates", "imitates", but nothing you do with it it's real, it's only to be seen on a pc screen.
It's totally different when you use colorpencils on 90cms/grm paper or durex cartuline, when you use markers on opaline cartuline or watercolors on watercolor paper, just to mention some traditional techniques, you have the texture of the paper, the very specific and unique texture (traces) created by the art tool you're using.
Some people think the white tiny spots resulting after painting with colorpencils are a flaw of the work, but I remember very well the words of my teachers in university "that's the specifique texture of the technique".
You may argue that I am not an artist and I admit it, I am an architect and we architects are NOT artist, but I studied some art in my university time and that's the philosophy I got after what I studied.
I know I sound very strict and sorry If you feel I have been rude at you, that's not my intention. But I see computers just like a tool, but not like a medium to generate art.
Just think of this, important art work gains value by his meaning to society and the time it has, a pc generated image won't never get old, it will be always the same, it is virtual and intangible, and that's important in the life of an art work. And the prints you will print they're only copies of what you generated on your pc, there will be never an original. Only a file that can be copied.
To finish, I think both traditional or digital techniques are both different types of "technologies" to express the ideas we have and what we feel. So if you feel more comfortable using digital, is perfectly ok, there are just different ways of doing things, that adjust to the likes and needs of every person.

I haven't seen many episodes, but Jammet is indeed my favorite character... but I'm a sucker for corpulent rodents.

heh heh, yup I am a DB/DBZ fan. there were so many neat characters in the series, ranging from the cool to the cute. I do need to change my avatar though... I've had this one for quite a while, and I think I should use another... maybe not.
anyway, I will try to check out your you tube account as soon as I can.

You never mentioned Dragon Ball GT? Would you watch the series in Japanese?
π: 0 β©: 1
Cho-Ran In reply to b1k [2008-06-28 20:52:20 +0000 UTC]
I like the character's in GT and watched all the episodes I was able to... but the company that produced the anime made it against the creator of the dragon ball manga's, so I feel a slight distaste for the show itself. odd maybe, but I am odd myself.

I think I might make a jacket design that reads "Eat the environment" and have it airbrushed on the back of an Army surplus trench coat with an anti-peace sign to go with it.

b1k In reply to keiththewolf [2007-10-30 21:45:13 +0000 UTC]
Its called Capitol Critters. It was Hanna Barberas atempt to be in the same leauge as The Simspons. It only lasted 13 episodes cause of the childess nature of it & the bit of reality like Drugs, rasisim, polotics. I liked it cause of Jammit cause he's a big fat rat & I'm into furry art. If you wanna see it go to You Tube, type the name & watch it. Heres a note. In Simsons Halloween Special part 3 where Bart resurects the dead, theres a Tomb Stone saying Capitol Critters! I must say Matt Groening is a cheeky bastard for doing that! Hanna Barbera tried again with a cartoon called Fish Police. Same result! Tell me what you think. By the way, you can thank Honest Wolf who is on this page for showing the cartoon. Check Honest Wolfs work. She has some more Capitol Critters art in her page. Thanks for veiwing my picture! It means so much to me!

He describes himself as a "bed-wetting liberal." I'm a diehard Republican. I can spot propaganda a mile away.
