so i recently joined the perth RFlan crew, via `flameturret as i now live with him, and he requested i conceive an update to their 10 year old flag bearer illustration. which is good because it somehow motivated me to pick up a pen again, which felt fucking great for once.i think, and hope, that this triggers many more illustrations to come. this fucking hole in my soul has stuck around for far too long.

i tried studying art. i hated it, and i hated the people who taught it and what they stood for and i never tried it again. its bullshit to me.

Love the colors in this with the brown and red. One thing I always admire is the way you use lines, especially straight lines. Like his arms and legs
