I once refused to leave the stage when I was about 3... It was this pretty little dance which involved baskets and skipping around, putting down the baskets, jump, jump, and pick up the baskets again.
Someone stole MY basket.
So, I was pissed and stood there.
And refused to move.
For about 10 minutes they were trying to get me to leave the stage.
Eventually, one of the senior girls conned me off into the senior girls' changeroom where they fed me chocolate.
My parents were in the audience refusing that I was their child.

Dude, the picture is absoloutely perfect, don't add any silly 'visual' or ... bubble over her head or something... The focus here is on the picture, not the way the text looks. I know that you framed the photo just as you wanted it, and you shouldn't change that. Anyway...the little dresses they have on are so cute :] ...the colors and everything. I remember when I was in dance at the age of 5, and all of us girls would end up forgetting everything looking at one another in confusion trying to figure out who remembered what we were supposed to do next!! So I know exactly how that little girlie feels...

Wonderful capture of a priceless moment. The little girl is standing there just waiting for directions on what to do next . The only critique that I can add here is something very simple to change and that is the text. It is too small and maybe use of the kids font would fit better with a visual of the child speaking the lines "What do I do next?"
Nonetheless, this picture made me smile

cute -- great focus. reminds me of what i did all day today... i had to wear my dance costumes while i got my pictures taken at our dance studio for an upcoming show. : ) every time i put on a tutu i feel like im 4.
and looking at your picture i smile and think of dancing in the hallway with my two sisters when i was that age too.
anyway, sorry for rambling, its early. this is simply bliss, i enjoy the emotions and the colors and the expressions. good work.

wow. the black framing really gives the picture a focudes feeling. and the girl there...perfectly cropped and compositioned (?).

Great photo! Sweeter than a romance in a sugar factory. However... I think it may be improved by darkening the right side background into all black. Now it sort of looks like there is a fault in the image. And I think it would make the two dancers on the right hand side stand out more.
