Wut is life anymore I don't even I'm trying to work on artistic stuff that I've always wanted to try but was too afraid to attempt. This one's practice with luminescence and shadow, along with rain. Gosh dang that rain..... Lmao I had no idea what I was doing. Β

I love the piping and the wall behind her! How did you get the texture-y roughness on it?

The texture is actually one of the textures that comes with the drawing program I use, SAI. It has a little adjustment that allows you to choose a "paper" texture, and then you can change how that works. So each stroke is also spread out using the "scatter" setting as well. ^w^ Haha trust me I didn't have the patience to do all the texture for that by hand xDDD
(You're all good! And I'm sure you're getting there! I'd really like to see your works some day. ;w; )

Okay so starting at the top. The rain amg, it almost looks like fire, like to show her dangerous side? But it could also represent sunshine, which is usually a symbol for happiness, so it's like the darkness is taking the joy from the people
That background amgggg. I'm so in love with not only the texture you used, but also the pipes that interrupt it and show the work and attention you put into this beautiful thing *w*
THEN DEEDRA BBUUUUU. Gosh dang I love the style you went with for this, it's new and awesome and hnnNNNN 
The colors here amg. I love how you shaded with cool colors to contrast with the warm-colored light sources in the falling rain. It looks so lovely and smooth and soft *o*
Then the fact you have her positioned on the bottom of the pic makes me think she may be sitting or kneeling on the ground? Like maybe we've caught her in a candid quiet moment, maybe even weakness? Gya I just love it all

Ahhhh that bg. I'm actually not happy with it because I had planned so much more for it but SAI killed my first file for the pic. So half of this was already drawn (including part of the bg) and I had to finish everything around what had saved--like working on a pasted pic, almost. GAHHH I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED because it messed up all the prepping I had done for the pipes. ;n; And made selecting parts to touch up really difficult...... *sobs in corner*

Ahhhh very good way to interpret this, yes. OwO I wanted to leave her emotions up to the viewer, but that is a very perceptive interpretation. While working on this, I figured most people would find her solemn, contemplative, or perhaps even condescending because of the quote. However, weakness is a very interesting interpretation. and me gusta the thought process
