I can feel the power swirl in my body like nothing I've ever felt before, the energy clutching to my form and surging through my veins like adrenaline, only stronger. The golden light was overpowering, but I had no urge to shield my eyes. I loved it.
Flashes of colour whizzed around our being, their power lifting out bodies off the ground.

Red. Blue. Green. Gold. Silver. Pink. Cyan.

They were all here, and they all poured their pour into my body, turning my pelt into a shimmering gold, a gold that gleamed with pure power.

I looked at the hedgehog before me, and for a moment there, as we hovered in endless space, we relished in our transformation. His bright, glowing red eyes stared into my own, gleaming with the kind of mischievousness you only ever saw when you knew someone was going to get their asses kicked.
It was a moment of pure perfection when I felt his arms slide around my body, and mine, slide around his. We held each other there, staring into each others eyes contently, feeling time slow down the longer we held each other. The emeralds still twirling around our intertwined forms, forging our souls together. It was if nothing could ruin this moment, everything seemed perfect.
We were there, together, stilled in power and in love.

Never had either of us felt so alive.
