WHAT IS THIS?

An art contest.
A THEMED art contest.

Hey, it's getting to be that time again and what better way to combine a few of the things I love most?

** ALL ENTRIES SHOULD HAVE SOME TIE-IN WITH THE THEME OF 'FALL/AUTUMN' **
As long as that is achieved, anything else is a go ~

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE?

Due to a lack of interest and IRL events, I am closing this for now.

WHAT DO I DRAW?

My OC, whom I consider a representation of the Keeper of the Gates that lead to the various world/verses I create.
(aka my 'mascot')

She is a Scheep - a sheep/scottie (scottish terrier) hybrid species I created.

Fur: very dark, almost black grey.
Hoove/paws: light grey (hooves on front legs, paws on back ones)
Eyes: ice blue.
Wool: gold
Wings: same colour as fur, with silver tipping and markings upon the feathers.
Other: white-gold unicorn horn that glows with a gold-silver light when used. also, leg feathering on upper portion of legs.
When she's using her horn, both her eyes and markings on her wings glow.
Her feet leave trails of magical stardust.

Miscellanous:
Solakei can be drawn by herself, or alongside any of the other OCs I own (heh ).
I also love seeing her drawn with a plushie version of my OC, Arii's, sheep form...
tbh as long as the character design stays true, artistic license can be taken to give your own spin/flair.
I'm excited to see what all you can come up with! Have fun.

THE RULES

01. Entries submitted must be one hundred percent your own creation (no using bases). Using references in regards to matters such as poses is fine, but source must be stated and credited. Photo manipulation is a no-go, as is (obviously) tracing.

02. If I have commissioned or requested art from you in the past, you are still free to enter. However, you can not use the art done for said commission/requests. Submitted artwork must be unique in creation for this contest.

03. All manners and genres of visual art is allowed, whether it be done using digital and-or traditional means. Submissions can be of any rating, as long as it's considered appropriate to dA standards and contain proper filters.
04. There is no limit to the number of entries each artist wishes to submit, though an artist is limited to winning just one major prize (so no to the same artist winning both first and second or variation thereof).

WHAT CAN I WIN?

Minimum of five (5) entries needed to award prizes:
First Place: $25USD

Minimum of ten (10) entries needed to award prizes:
Second Place: $15USD
Third Place: $5USD

In the event that twenty-five (25) or more entries are obtained, prizes will be the following instead:
First Place: $50USD
Second Place: $25USD
Third Place: $15USD

Since cash is the prize being offered, it is required that all participants have access to PayPal.
If for some reason you are unable to provide such and win, then I might be able to instead provide prize through equivalent DA Points.

Depending, I may or may not be able to also offer a participation prize for all participants - but this is NOT a guarantee.

(Or upload elsewhere and note me, or ask for email to send)

If you wish to include a watermark to the image posted to DA, please be willing to upload a non-marked version somewhere for me.
(Again, providing link via note or sending via email is fine)
