```````````````WARNING, DO NOT READ UNLESS WILLING TO WADE THROUGH ANNOYING AMOUNTS OF BIOLOGICAL JARGON. THANK YOU.`````````````````This is the future.
Germline engineering will take place primarily and with priority on females (due to their more stable chromosomes), producing a race of FEmales (coined from the chemical name for iron), which act primarily as infantrymen (because war is this b*tch that never goes away).
FEmales exhibit exponentially increased muscle density as they mature, allowing them to manifest extraordinary weight-to-strength ratios as adults. This muscle density also negates the need for heavy body armour as their flesh is resistant to most chemical and physical attacks.
From birth they are moulded into every aspect of their role, to the extent of weaning them onto high heels as soon as they walk (this is because the elevated form allows for increased dexterity and reach).
The modifications made to their chromosomes have also given them several unintended, but not unwelcome, characteristics, such as:
- Albinism (interruption of the gene for melanism)
- Longevity (activation of the telomerase gene)
- Infertility (most express limited pubertal changes at best, none develop enough to produce mature Graafian follicles)
- Psychopathy (Mechanism unknown, possibly competitive inhibition of Dopamine and Serotonin receptors)
- Tendency toward mental conditions (due to the overwhelming amount of foreign genetic material in their chromosomal structure) including but not restricted to: bipolar disorder, panic disorder, conduct disorder, obsessive-compulsive, schizophrenia, etc.
In short, these girls are produced purely as a vehicle for war, and are chronically unable to survive in normal society.
This is the future. Die dulci fruere.
```````````````JARGON END.`````````````````
Just another concept. These things never leave me alone!
In other news, monochrome is such a relief to return to

Thank you! I do enjoy designing horrible weapons.
