Description Brand new Boeing 737 MAX 8, line number 7345 destined for Air Italy. It's almost done, still missing a few bits at this stage it seems (note the missing paneling near the engine).

No I don't work for Boeing, but the photo is as up-close as it seems. The Renton factory is technically separate from Renton airfield and some of the taxiways between the factory ramps and the airfield cross public areas. If you time it right you can get some good shots in this case they towed the plane to this position then left it there for the night, they'll probably tow it onto the field tomorrow. There's still a moving gate between me and the plane you can't see though.

Some of my shots on dA are airside at various airports though.

I've only been to the Seattle and Everett sites - never have seen Renton, but that's pretty cool.

Renton is more low key. It doesn't have any museums, public tours or anything like that. But there's plenty to see
