I'm 14 and I picked your piece as my model for a recreation project in my sophomore art class. I worked my way downwards ...and so far, I have reproduced the brow and eyes fairly well, but I noticed a raised 6 in the nose. Is that significant to the drawing somehow? I thought it might be, because there is also an apparent 6 in the ring (which I can't identify). Anyway, I didn't get stumped until I worked down around his fingers, which feel elongated to me and are throwing me for a loop .....and I know you're probably busy, but I was wondering if you could give me some tips for recreating the beard, and I was wondering if you could tell me if you used a model (for person and for ring)??
