Description
Inspired by my EdX01 spider lamp I have created a big brother version which is a planetarium.EdX02 stands at 28" tall and has been hand carved from solid wood.
He is fully posable including head unit, legs and claws.
Inside is a sega home star pro planetarium. He can be positioned to project onto your ceiling to display upto 60,000 stars which slowly rotate. He also has a shooting star feature and the discs are interchangeable.
Soon to be available on my online shop www.etsy.com/shop/artype

This is cool!
A lot of separate parts and wwery biomechanic-look.. I like.
Really a piece of art, and would work for a good-lookin lamp too (I mean itΒ΄s not Only just art but it really works too..)
You got skills with working with wood, envious

This is really cool. But I think you can make it even better and spider like by using the actual Carl Zeiss planetarium projection devices. Especially the one from the Air and Space museum in Washington DC. These things look like spider eyes ... I'm sure you'll figure out something amazing ...
