Description The 'Melting Table' is relatively Small furnature piece & is designed to be used as a small side table or alike. its made entirely of recycled oak & took nearly 4weeks (of part time) work to complete.

very nice peice, singular design, lovely organic texture. I appreciate the use of the oak medium, it has a great bold grain that gives an interesting dynamic to the movement.

Really love this piece, it's very dynamic.

I was wondering about shortgrain problems, but then I noticed it was somewhat laminated. Really beautiful grain...red oak is so nice.

Hi Folks... I'm so sorry that I never got chance to reply or thank you for all your wonderful comments till now - But I'm completely blown away by it! This is the first chance that I got to see all the comments as I fell ill very soon after I signed up to the website, & I haven't been able to do anything till recently. Unfortunatly, I sent the suggestion to dedredhed, and she's already commented on it, so she's already seen it. I still think it's worth a DD, though. Some of the most amazing wood work I've ever seen.

That's really cool. The wood flows so well in those "melting" shapes and "droplets". I wonder though about the thinner and smaller drops, how stable they are or immune to the occasional bumping into if used as actual furniture. It would kill me to see some of it break off.
