Because I know the feeling. I actually wear guys boxer shorts more than anything else, and won't go anywhere near skimpy girly underpants. It's just... plain uncomfortable. xD

haha, my lesbian friend and my ex both did the same. My ex wore both boxers and panties though, which was kinda weird
