hmm, let's see, then!!
i do think overall it's really strong, but the colors give it a sort of flat look because there's no strong light source or shading, if that makes sense? i agree with you that your figure placement needs work, although again this piece is strong there are some little things like it seems like Raph and the Foot around him are on a different plane than the rest of the characters, suggested mostly by the ninja on the ground to the left of Raph whose body doesn't match up with the perspective/angle of the rooftop. my other main nit is that you don't seem to be 'drawing through' with the figures, as in mapping out what the figures look like in full even the parts of them that are obscured by objects or by other characters, resulting in some weird displaced body parts that don't match up with the rest of the figure or which are apparently missing altogether. for example, on the left hand side, the ninja second up from the bottom, he appears to be missing his entire torso and legs, him being hidden completely by the other guy seems awkward and makes it look like he's missing his legs. other areas like that is Leo's left leg, and it seems like Raph's right leg (our left) is missing below the knee...!
i do the same thing sometimes, sometimes i get lazy and don't feel like drawing through and mapping out every single character, but it's a good technique to do so you don't end up with missing or displaced limbs, etc.
it's still good, though, you got a lot of energy and love going on, so i'm just critiquing some of the technical aspects.

Your lessons are very valuable, Sensei. But in all seriousness thanks for the critique man! I see what you're saying about the color. Did you happen to look at the non-colored version? I like that a little better. I placed what color there is as shadow and the yellows and white highlights as light. Its really extreme sure, but i sort of dig it.
Raph's leg... yeah. I sort of visioned it like he's on his knee and the lower half of his leg behind him, BUT it doesn't really look like that.
All of the Foot attacking Leo, yup totally just missing body parts. I have this bad habit of starting to ink without knowing what the whole picture will look like. Gotta quit that lol.

i liked the b&w one, too! i think they're both good. i do dig the colors, they remind me of some kind of watercolory children's book illustration, which i mean as a big compliment!

I took inspiration while coloring from Batwoman covers. I really love what J. H. Williams does with them. Am I anywhere near that, no. But as Michelangelo once said "Keep practicing"

Perhaps the linework would make for a better critique than the colored version though.

It was rushed and has a couple of oops. And water color bleeds sometimes when you don't want it to
