Description Species name: Squiggle (keeping up with the punctuation theme here)
Similar species: Cockatiel, cat, fennec, fox.
Personality: Playful, cautious, amiable, humble, curious, silly, competitive.
Habitat: Open areas where it could fly, with bushes where it can hide. Otherwise it prefers to stick in burrows of other friendly species.
Herbi-, carni- or omnivore: Herbi/omni. Berries & leaves mostly.
Feral, anthro or were: Feral and anthro, there are no known cases of people being weresquiggles.
Height: Small. With a minimum of 8 inches to a maximum of 3 foot, as feral.
Sizes: Ears can be very small to very tall, resembling scottish fold to fennec fox ears.
Extra: It's very fluffy, so it's very light. It can puff up to a fluff ball and it can calibrate its feathers to become slick for running. The arms and legs, and second pair of wings are covered by a thick nimble layer of floof. Its tail is also very soft, it has two separate points of muscle control on the sides of its tail which it uses for movement in flight. They're attracted to bright round objects like berries. They seem to be very smart whenever they're not goofing around, some even being able to mimick human speech. They have two pairs of wings which allows them to hover in the air relatively still.

Color palette
Body: Brown and its shades are most common, followed by yellow. Bright colors like blue are always rare, grey is an uncommon mutation of blue for Squiggle feathers. Black and white are very uncommon as they are featured by Squiggles with melanism and albinism.
Ears: Are usually a darker shade than the body, it is rare that they are a completely different color than the body.
Cheeks: Red is most common
Beak: Almost always a dark grey with a hue hint of the body color.
Feet: Neutral colored, unless similar to cheek color, which is not rare to Squiggles with uncommon colored cheeks.
Wings: It might not have any. If it does, they're usually the same color of complementary to the body color.
Tail: Hardly ever differs in color from the body.
Eyes: Irises usually don't show, but the color usually complements the cheek color.

This will be a closed species.

These are just sketches, the final design will be of higher quality. Please let me know if you like them by commenting  or faving . If I go ahead and make this an adoptable species then you might get one for free. You can also request to make a certain color/themed Squiggle if you watch me.

Oh wow thanks.  Well I guess maybe the sketch style is putting people off, but you might've just given me enough confidence to go ahead with it.
