I took a snapshot of it at the Living Desert in Palm Springs, CA. It's way more beautiful in person! Thanks for the kind words and the watch!

Fantastic!
looking at the thumb I was convinced this was a photograph during an extreme sunset and the tree was standing in a flooded field or something!

Have you ever climbed into a tree to "feel" it? I used to do that as a kid....some trees were pretty hard to get into. Some trees were easy to get into and invited you high up - then it was hard to get down. There's still "something" about trees I love. Not sure what the draw to them is, but I find a beauty in all of them.

Oh, I know just what you mean! I love being around trees and even though I'm not young anymore, the urge to climb a tree that looks like it could be climbed is very powerful. I wonder if some trees like the contact of someone climbing them! Like a dog having it's head ruffled! It would be a lovely thought! We walk amongst gentle giants!
I loved climbing trees as a kid and now my youngest boy [link] is always up a tree when we go for a family walk!
