I like this shot myself, but what made this shot for me was realizing how the sun glinted off the gloss when I viewed the full res.

Like the angle too. A lot of times tilted photos don't "work" for me but this one sure does.

99% of the time seeing a classic Bug is a nonchalant experience, but as you said, this custom job is /really/ well done, and deserved to be highlighted.
I kick myself now in hindsight because the interior matched the exterior in terms of quality, but I only got one shot inside

That's unfortunate. I went to a car show that had so many cars that I actually filled up an 8gb card and half of another one but I only got half of the cars there. I averaged about 5 shots per car so that didn't help but I did get some good pictures.

If there's one thing I've learned about photography, it's aim for quality through quantity, so I completely respect where you're coming from. Thank GOD for terabyte external hard drives...

I like that "Quality through quantity." I have a 1Tb ext HDD too. Best investment in my photography since my T2i.
