A deafening silence fell between them as his hand tightened its hold on hers with the knife.
But then the silence was broken.
She began to cry.
"W-why did you save me? What do YOU CARE?!....what do you care..."
His emotions strangled him, holding back the words that were desperate to escape from his mouth. His pride being one of those things, but then he thought 'How selfish am I, telling her not to kill herself, yet not even telling her why due to my egotistical pride. So he did something he hasn't done in a long time.
He let his guard down, and all the emotions flow through like a broken dam.
"The value of your life, is what keeps me living un, to protect you, and yet I am the very reason why you must be pretected." Droplets leaked from his eyes, the sorrow flooding through looking for a release.
"Sakura..."
Their hands slacken and the knife falls to the floor.
Scared. Vulnerable. The great Sakura Haruno let down the last of her walls and began to cry, scream, morn. She through herself on Deidara as his tears leaked on her, releasing at last all true discomfort...
