I had this guys sketch sitting around so I decided to finish them up! I wasn’t expecting to get back to designing things to sell so early but, things happen I guess. He’s a little overview if anybody is curious about my situation:

Commissions Update(Sorry for the new journal. I have new clue how to or if you’re even able to bump submissions with Eclipse now)
Edit 5/20/20: Hello guys! I’m alive and well. I’ve done my grieving and have gotten by well. My grandma is doing as okay as she’s able to right now. We will be holding a lil family get together in July to celebrate my grandpa’s life in hopes that might give my grandma the closure she needs since there’s currently not a whole lot we can do. With that said, I will now be settling into a schedule but, it’ll be a bit different than I had previously thought. I am in college and work part-time at my local hospital. So, I typically live paycheck to paycheck with bills, using that money I get from art for luxury items or other stuff I’d like to do/have. Well, with Covid cases beginning to dwindle in my area (I suspect for now at least since people are tearing to get back outside and there’s talk of this probably causing a second wave) my hospital has found themselves with an excess of employees. Which means hours are being cut. Fun times. So, this means I need to start selling artwork not only for luxury items, but also for bills too. It was either that or get a second job which could potentially delay me even more with finishing commissions which, I am not comfortable with. So, I am going to attempt to sell designs to get the monthly money I need. I will be settling into a schedule for finishing up my current queue along with selling designs. I need to earn roughly $400 a month (on top of my paycheck) to give me what I need to pay my bills along with allowing me to save up a small amount in my bank account. I wasn’t planning on selling designs so early again but, until I can get back to my normal 5-6 day a week work schedule (they currently have me working 3-4 now) I will need to to make sure my account doesn’t start dwindling too much. Again, if you’d like to set a hard date for your commissioned to be finished I am still completely open to that! Just go ahead and note me and we can talk it out. Again, hope all you guys are staying healthy!

Sorry for the lack of activity once more. Things have been a bit trying on my side for sure. Please rest assured I am still working on commissions though, albeit at a much slower pace. I just wanted to give an update so people know exactly what’s going on. As many of you know I work at a hospital, which isn’t exactly an easy task with how the world is right now. But I’m fine, I take precautions, sanitize, etc! But, that alone has slowed me down a bit. I also mentioned in a passing status post that I had one of my grandfathers now on hospice (not due to the virus. It’s just his time). Well, just last week we had to go say our goodbyes to him because he’s deteriorating quickly. He’s still with us for now but, it’s been a bit stressing knowing that any day his time will come. On the more minor side, I’ve been on and off my medication for bipolar depression (currently off right now) because my psychologist’s office has been getting refills at a much slower rate (I don’t get a normal prescription from a pharmacy since my insurance doesn’t cover it. I just get samples from my psychs office which means I get smaller amounts at a time). But, don’t worry, I’ve learned to cope with this pretty well. I just end up being a bit less motivated and sleep in more. EDIT: My grandpa has passed away this morning (5/10). I’ll be finishing up my last final of the school year tonight too but, please allow me a few days to cope with this. Love you guys <3 Hope you’re all happy and healthy But with that out of the way I want to let everyone on my queue know that they’re free to message me whenever! I always try to answer anybody who tries to reach out to me as soon as I’m able. I still do come on here daily to check for messages even if I am being inactive. I understand that my slowness can put people on edge but I do try to offer things up to try and ease that. I specifically state in my TOS that I’m not always fast with comms for this reason. If for any reason you want to contact me do not be afraid, I will try my best to always answer! If anybody is a bit skittish I do offer hard due dates if you’d like a commission done by a certain date just to help ease your mind. I typically ask for a week of time at the very least to let me work on a commission but, with everything going on I’d like it to be a month work time at the least for right now (I do apologize for that). So, if you’d like that please feel free to note me about it and we can discuss a hard date or weekly update cycle if you’d like just to stay in the loop and get rid of any discomfort.
This is also my finals week so, after this Sunday I actually will be a little more freed up. I more than likely won’t take any more commissions for a very long time after this (I’d like to keep my queue empty. I don’t like stressing over it or stressing others out for my slowness). You might see a few designs between commission work once I’m feeling better. But, other than that things may be a bit slow on my side for submissions here.
But, I hope you guys are fairing at least decently in this weird world right now. Please stay safe everyone and don’t be afraid to reach out to me if you need anything!
