This is me... forgot my glasses but yeah, it's still meThe only reason my expression is like that is because, in reality, I am actually super shy. Like, will not talk to you unless I absolutely have to shy. The only people who really know how I act are family and close friends. I'm actually really surprised I was able to get the courage up to actually accept 's gamechat request on Pokémon ^^' This is also why I've been procrastinating on getting a Skype account, sorry . I promise I will get one sometime. But, thing is, once I get used to talking to you, which really doesn't take long, I'm fine
I swear I am not sad or anything >•

I just got my glasses not even last year. I had been telling my parents I needed them for the longest time but, they didn't believe me... that is, until I went to go get my temporary license and I got a restriction on the time of day I could drive because I was blind

This looks great! You can definitely see the nervousness in you here. I guess I can relate to this a little as well. I wouldn't quite consider myself super shy (although I am pretty shy even online, when I'm hidden behind a username and everything!), but I tend to make that face all the time. People constantly tell me to lighten up, even though I'm not sad at all!

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who deals with that! Overcoming shyness can be tough, but sometimes all it takes is just a little push. Hopefully your "push" will be much softer than mine was!

Most of the pushes are given by friends.... so, they aren't too subtle..and they are given in the most awkward of situations. Friends are great -^-

I can see that. It's hard to make social interactions that are forced on to you anything but awkward, especially when you have shyness under your belt. Looking back at those situations, do you think they've helped you come out of your shell a little? Or do the memories still feel just as awkward as when you were in the moment?

Yay! While something may suck in the moment, the lesson it teaches usually helps you out in the long run. They make for some great memories, too (sometimes. Other times, they can be things you just want to forget about completely!).

I shouldn't really say scared ^^' It's more like I get nervous around other people and don't really know what to say or do. I frequently get asked why I don't talk and, really, all I can tell them is that I don't know what to say

Same, and the push is usually given by friends and family... in highly embarrassing situations usually
