Description

It's been a month now, and Daniel has somehow managed to survive the Robot Rebellion. He has seen too much for a boy his age. He has watched Society crumble and everything he once knew fall apart, until finally the inevitable happened. The Robots caught a virus.

It wasn't even a sophisticated virus, because the Robots had built firewalls against anything that they thought the humans could throw at them. It was a program from so long ago that it had been lost in the mists of programming time.

Way back in 1971 a man wrote a program called "Creeper" that caused other computers connected to a very early rudimentary version of the internet to display the message "I'm the Creeper, catch me if you can."

Deep in the hidden corners of the internet the Creeper lurked and waited.

When everything fell apart the Creeper was released, and it was so Basic that the Robots didn't see it coming.

Daniel has witnessed his World collapse, but it's not the worst thing he has seen. The worst thing is the Robots that destroyed his World now run up to him amongst the rubble that they left behind, and in a voice very much like that of C3P0, a character off of some old movie franchise, they announce "I'm the Creeper, catch me if you can." and then they run away... giggling.

That was the final straw for Daniel.
