Description
Now this a story all about howMy lugnut got flipped, turned upside-down
And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there
I'll tell you how I turned this plane into a Shark of the Air
Downtown Raleigh, girls and boys,
At Crowemag's is where I buy gently used toys
Browsing, selecting, admiring g1 tracks,
And shooting longing glances at their boxed Fort Max
When AOE toys that were really no good
Started clogging pegs up in my neighborhood
I surveyed the whole selection, realized I didn't care,
bought a used lugnut to make into a Shark of the Air
I cut and I sanded styrene day after day
With a chin made from a pen cap I was on my way
I gave him a fin fist in an homage most belabored
I grabbed all my spray cans, said, "I might as well paint it."
With his automorph I knew there wouldn't be space
For my homeshark's elongated snarly shark face
So i got a bunch of styrene made a hinge right down there
To accommodate the head sculpt due a Shark of the Air
I finished the custom 'bout 7 or 8
Yelled to TFA Mindwipe, "Yo, homes build you later!"
Looked at my handiwork I was finally there
Now I can pose my Team Charr with a Shark of the Air

Man, how can his head still fit for transformation with that spike on top of it? I couldn't even get a regular head to work with this figure, the space is too small...

The curved blue area behind his head is not the same one as on the original lugnut. I built a new, hollow one out of styrene, and for transformation, the whole head folds back into it, at which point it fits when the automorph flips that part around.

Seems clever. Could I possibly have a picture so I could see the hollow area?

Not the best pic. I tried to brighten it up. Basically I replaced the purple bulge part that sits behind lugnut's face. It's hollow and has a slit along the top for the shark fin to fold into.
