Abril, sin tu asistencia clara, fuera
invierno de caídos esplendores;
mas aunque abril no te abra a ti sus flores,
tú siempre exaltarás la primavera.
Eres la primavera verdadera;
rosa de los caminos interiores,
brisa de los secretos corredores,
lumbre de la recóndita ladera.
¡Qué paz, cuando en la tarde misteriosa,
abrazados los dos, sea tu risa
el surtidor de nuestra sola fuente!
Mi corazón recojerá tu rosa,

Yep. Most of my mixed-media works are multi-layered. The first part of the work usually takes place in the bathroom because it involves a lot of slosh-splashing and monkeying around with wet media, such as my favorite water-dissolved Russian sauce pastels.
