This really caught my eye because I've drawn parts of Bakhchysarai -- there's a scene set there in my webcomic. It's a beautiful place, and you've done a beautiful job.

The whole thing isn't set in Bakhcysarai, but it is mostly set in the Crimea. This scene secondcrimeanwar.thecomicserie… reminds me a little of your painting. I should warn you that I'm not from that part of the world, so I could very well have made ridiculous mistakes, even with my "alternate history!" excuse. >_>
