i love the raptor, its sleek, stealthy, fast as crap through a goose and dam is it cool looking, but i hate the aircraft they decided to replace it with, the boewing X-35 which looks like the raptor, only its a jump jet, i hate that

we spent so much money on the most advanced fighter in the world, just to replace it with a lesser aircraft that is still in development and is costing more money!

its almost like the hornet replacing the tomcat

the tomcat could target up to 12 aircraft at once, the hornet could only target 8, i understand that the tomcat was old technology, and after an amout of time we cant support it any more, but if older technology can do so much more, why are we replacing it with less?

but here is the exact opposite, we are replacing newer tech with older tech, the concept of a jump jet was done with the harrier, even though its a good plane the tech isnt perfected yet, and from what i understand the X-35 wont be stealth....that really angers me cause we made a fighter that can keep our pilots alive after alot of spent money, and now we figure we dont need that in this day and age...wow, so S.A.M. missiles, advanced radar, and supersonic jets arnt a threat...hmm

but back to the picture....cant say much more so i give it my BADASS STAMP OF APPROVAL!

I thought the original plan for a Strike Raptor, the FB-22, was going to be a tail-less flying wing version of the plane. Has that changed?
