There are many reasons that someone might be against Obama, but the mindless drumming that the debt is both Obama's fault and the most important issue in the election is asinine. You don't have to be knowledgable about fiscal policy and macroeconomics but if you aren't, stop voicing ridiculous opinions. Unless of course you have a proper argument for how McCain would have prevented government revenue from falling through the floor within his first week of presidential reign. Oh and you'd need to also explain how Romney plans to fix the deficit considering he is going to lower government revenue in order to give the top earners tax cuts. Keep in mind that this is almost certainly not going to cause economic growth in the private sector since top companies and individuals are already sitting on record levels of liquid assets.
Criticize him for the NDAA, the lack of rigid stance against internet privacy invasion, how the bankers that caused the crash (AND THE DEFICIT) have gone unharmed and how he has left gitmo open.
PS: Saying "Ron Paul would fix it!" is even more retarded. I admire the man tremendously and support most of his social/forgein policy views but I strongly disagree with his economic stance.

As much as I COMPLETELY disagree with this guy's political opinions, I do enjoy the debates/discussions that go on these pages.

What fiscal cliff? The Government spending money is how the economy grows. Keynes said so.

American politics is right wing. Even your left wing is conservative by any sane standard. So no communist hyperbole please

As opposed to that idiot Bush? Or even worse Romney? The world is hardly blowing itself to hell, in fact we're MORE at peace now than we've been for 6000 years. Iran is no more likely to fire a nuke at America than Poland and they lack the ability to deliver any such warhead. Oh and Islamic radicals are just as happy chopping your head off and crucially are not a realistic threat to your freedoms. (Except through neo-nazi bills like the Patriot Act)

Bush did a lot better job the Obama has done. it's been 4 years and we are worse then we started. Stop watching the news and actually look into things.

I have. And guess what? Obama's doing better than Bush, especially as Bush was the one who put you in the s*** to begin with. And trampled your constitutional rights with you cheering him. And started an illegal war.

So you saying that Obama's right to try and take all godly things out of this country? that's how this country started. With God. at least bush respected that.

No, your country was founded on humanist principles. SEPARATION of CHURCH and STATE. And, for the time, LIBERAL ideas about democracy and all men being born equal. YOUR constitution SPECIFICALLY states that. Unless you're talking about the original colonists, in which case your allegiance to the British crown, slavery and genocide are your politics. In other words, GOD has no place in US politics.

UltraViolet1197 In reply to Passin [2012-10-17 15:31:15 +0000 UTC]
No the separation of church and state was never an actual thing. It's a lie. it was a letter between two people that were discussing it. and we have 'In God we trust' on all of our coins and government things. and you're not even in our country.
π: 0 β©: 1
Passin In reply to UltraViolet1197 [2012-10-17 22:01:16 +0000 UTC]
Nope, 'In God we Trust' was added later. You can trace the addition of under God to the 1950's. The separation of Church and state is in your constitution and is what makes America the worlds leading Superpower. And I'm not from your country, so I have the objectivity of an outsider

UltraViolet1197 In reply to Passin [2012-10-18 04:07:09 +0000 UTC]
No it's not. You know the statement 'Tell a lie long enough people will start to believe it' well that was the lie. Its not in are constitution. The made it up and people believe it.
Now I am done with this discussion.

Yes it is and repeating it often enough will not change that. And given the amount of right wing hyperbole a bs you've portrayed as fact, you really lack the credibility to make that statement.
Incidentally, if religion and God was what really made America great, then Iran and Saudi Arabia would be the worlds leading superpowers.

UltraViolet1197 In reply to Passin [2012-10-18 19:51:20 +0000 UTC]
There is only one God. Iran and Saudi Arabia don't worship that God. There's a reason to why we Haven't lost a war.

Passin In reply to UltraViolet1197 [2012-10-18 20:12:11 +0000 UTC]
I know that there is no God. And I know that the same God worshipped by the Muslims. It's even in the Bible. The fact that I know your Bible better than you is depressing. It's not rocket science, the US wins wars because of its technological and numerical superiority. WHICH COMES FROM KEEPING CHURCH AND STATE SEPARATE.

Ya but they believe the true God is alah. Not are God. The say the messiah is Muhammad not Jesus. So yes the connect in a way. but they are totally different. So before you jump to some weird ass conclusion that I'm stupid and don't know anything about the Bible I believe in, you should get your facts straight.
