The 2nd generation Lightcycle was designed by Kevin Flynn in 1983 and is the fastest digital vehicle ever made. Not every program can ride it due to its speed. The only programs that seem to be able to ride it are Quorra and Anon. It is succeeded by the 3rd, 4th and, most recently, the 5th generations.

Kevin Flynn would appear to have a 2nd Generation Lightcycle as shown in the the Tron Legacy Trailer. Evidence that would boost this is that the lightcycle shown has the exact same color, shape and markings (see picture below)
